Hi there, I’m Chris - a designer and artist living in Richmond, VA. I grew up, not too far away, in Fredericksburg, VA and lived there until undergrad. I am a PROUD Virginia Tech Alumnus (Go Hokies), where I graduated with my BFA in studio art and communication in 2017.

After graduation I moved to Orlando, FL to intern for the big mouse. I already know what you are thinking so let me just come clean now - YES, I am in fact a Disney adult. I love all things Disney and thoroughly enjoy visiting the parks every few years. However, after a year of living my best life in Disney World, I relocated to Stamford, CT where I worked as a Graphic and Print Designer for 6 years at vineyard vines. I absolutely loved my time working for vineyard vines as it gave me the opportunity to really sharpen and develop my artistic skills and leadership abilities. Fast forward to 2024, and I decided to relocate back to Virginia, where I now work as a Print Designer for Swig Life.

A huge part of why I moved back to Virginia is because I am a proud uncle of four amazing nieces and nephews, all of which are under 4 years old. I love my family, and it was super difficult living so far away from them for so many years, especially once the babies came into the world. So relocating back to my home state was a no brainer! I’ve lived with my partner, Joey, for three years now - basically the entirety of our relationship. We were that couple that moved in together after only 6 months of dating, but hey why pay two separate rents if you can split just one? In all seriousness, it has been some of the best years of my life living with him. He loves Virginia Tech just as much as I do, he watches all the reality tv shows I like, he is obsessed with my nieces and nephews, and he tolerates my Disney obsession. What more could I ask for? We’ve only been in Richmond for a few months, but we already love all it has to offer us and I’m very excited for this next chapter in our relationship and our careers.

I love connecting with other designers and artists, and I am always looking for new opportunities to challenge my design abilities - so feel free to reach out with any freelance needs you may have or if you just want to connect with a fellow artist.
